Nutrition

I offer 1-1 nutrition coaching for all of my clients!

Research in nutrition and fitness shows that up to 80% of a person’s fitness training results are directly related to their nutrition or lack thereof. The fact is that we eat too much overall, we eat not enough of the nutrient-dense foods, and we move too little!! That is not a good combination!!

Start with the basics of good sound nutrition practices: like drinking lots of water, increasing vegetable and fruit consumption, eat only whole grains and foods, and increase protein intake. We help you develop an eating program that you can easily implement for the rest of your life. It’s all about options, balance, and what works for you.

It simply comes down to learning to eat regular nutritious food and creating a balance with the “treat” foods that allows you to enjoy life. You can do this and at the same time reach and maintain your fitness and weight loss goals. Some people want to be vegetarians or eat all organic. That is a great way to live; however, many of us do not want to live this way. Everyone is different! 

That’s where Amy Evert Fitness comes in.

Nutrition Plan Designed with Your Individual Needs

Depending on your fitness or weight loss goals and needs, we will create a sensible nutrition plan with easy to follow guidelines. For example, if you have three months to bring your cholesterol levels down before the doctor puts you on medication, then that will be our initial focus. If you want to lose weight, that will be our focus. We work side by side with YOU based on your individual goals and needs!
