At Althea Health & Fitness, we believe in the power of transformation. Our founder, Amy Evert, has a remarkable story of resilience and strength. Diagnosed with Tumor Onset Epilepsy in 2012, Amy faced numerous challenges, including frequent seizures, depression, and significant life changes as a single mother. Despite these hurdles, she decided to take charge of her health and well-being, turning her struggles into a journey of empowerment.
A Journey to Strength
In the midst of her darkest days, Amy discovered the life-changing benefits of fitness. She embraced strength training and focused on nutrition, which became her tools for reclaiming her life. With determination, she fought her way out of despair, proving that self-love and commitment to health can lead to profound transformation.

Education and Expertise
Amy's passion for fitness led her back to school, where she earned a degree in Exercise Science from Bryan University in 2015. She also holds certifications as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Precision Nutrition Coach, and Yoga Instructor. With her extensive knowledge and experience, Amy is dedicated to helping others navigate their own health journeys.
